Catholic Schools Week 2026- Normal Lives, Called to Holiness 18th–24th January 2026

During this week, our school celebrated Catholic Schools Week 2026 as part of the Grow in Love programme and in keeping with our school ethos. Throughout the week, pupils engaged in prayer, discussion, and reflection, deepening their understanding of what it means to live a life of faith.

We were delighted to welcome Fr. Peter, who visited each classroom and spoke with the children, offering encouragement and sharing insights about faith and community.

Each day focused on a different dimension of our call to holiness:

Monday: Called to Holiness through Prayer
Tuesday: Called to Holiness through Love and Friendship
Wednesday: Called to Holiness in Family Life
Thursday: Called to Holiness through Service and Courage
Friday: Called to Holiness through Joy and Mission

Admission Process 26/27: Last week

Dear parents,

Enrolment 26/27 for Scoil Bhríde, Straffan is well underway for next year.

The last date for enrolling your child for a place in our school for Sept 2026 is 25th January, 2026. If you know anyone who has yet to complete the application form for a place in our School next year, please encourage them to get this completed asap as we are in our last week of the process.

All applications can be completed online through this link and the enrolment form can be located on the school website at www.straffanschool.com.
