Wear rainbow colours for our Rainbow Skipathon for Wellness Day this Friday

Dear parents,

This week we will be hosting a Wellness Day on Friday, 12th of May for our school. This will include a range of activities to promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being – including a fun and energetic ‘Rainbow Skipathon’.

We invite the children to wear their most colourful clothes on this day.

As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting a healthy and happy school environment, the Amber Flag committee has created some daily challenges for parents/guardians to get involved with, which is attached.

Our aim is to provide the school with an opportunity to learn about and engage in activities that promote wellness and self-care, and to help them develop the skills and knowledge they need to lead healthy and happy lives. We recognise that the challenges and stresses of daily life can have a significant impact on mental health, especially for young people.

As a school, we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment that promotes positive mental health and helps our students develop the skills and knowledge they need to maintain good mental health and well-being. We believe that promoting positive mental health is a shared responsibility, and we encourage parents and guardians to get involved in promoting mental health at home.

Many thanks,

 Amber Flag Committee
